Introduction
Proud of my Cumbrian roots, I bring a broad perspective and knowledge of the history, heritage, ways and bye ways of this region that I call home. It is a joy to share this with you, as we create lasting memories and experiences, exploring and adventuring through a sublime and majestic landscape. |
About me
Lakeland born and raised on a dairy farm by the shores of Ullswater. Serving as a reservist in the local Border Regiment, I followed with 20 years of management in industry across the UK, Scotland and Internationally. Here then is my wellspring of knowledge and experience to showcase and illuminate this wonderful region - the impact it has made upon individuals, as well as the many unique links and influences with the world at large. I enjoy these great outdoors and my tours encompass the very best locations - both on and off the beaten track. At all times being attentive to providing the best possible experiences in accordance with your individual requirements. I give lectures on Cumbrian History and the interactions with it's neighbours, aspects of Military History - including Roman History and Hadrian's Wall. |
