Introduction
There are many iconic sights in the Heart of England, but we are keen to take you where you want to go. So help us create your own personalised tour which can last from a few hours to several days. Combine a trip to Oxford with seeing the Cotswolds; Stonehenge with Bath or Salisbury; Ironbridge with the Shropshire Hills; Stratford with the Warwick Castle and Banbury. We can mould a tour to your interests, whether they be in music, literature, science, industrial heritage, archaeology, arts & crafts, country houses, gardens, ancient churches, film locations, gastronomy and even tracing your ancestors. |
About me
Based in Oxford, I have been a Blue Badge Guide for the Heart of England since 2016. I have my own company, GULLIVER'S GUIDES, and provide tours in our private-hire minibus as well as walking tours of selected destinations. With a background in travel publishing and photography, I love the great outdoors. I am passionate about history, and feel just as much at home with industrial heritage as ancient stone circles. I am also a descendant of the Banbury Gullivers, whose graves in St Mary’s churchyard, Banbury, inspired Jonathan Swift to a name for his famous protagonist. So why not embark on your own journey of discovery? For high quality tours with family or friends, book with GULLIVER’S GUIDES. |
