About me

I love being a guide - after all, my job is to show you some of the most beautiful and famous sights in the world! London is a wonderful place to visit and when you want to see a bit more of the country, I'll be happy to guide you and drive you out to many great locations including Windsor Castle, Hampton Court Palace, Bath, Stonehenge, Stratford Upon Avon, Leeds Castle, the Cotswolds, Oxford, Blenheim Palace and so many more places. I love working with families and most of all, I enjoy making sure that everyone has a great time. "AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE We hired Donna through the Blue Guide service since we wanted a trained, reliable and informed guide. With Donna we got that and so much more. She is warm and personable and very engaging. My wife and I took our 13 year old grandson to England so Donna was dealing with a wide age difference. She handled it extremely well and our grandson loved the information and attention and my wife and I learned so much as well. We did one full day in London and then later made a trip to Stonehenge and overnight in Bath and went through the Cotswolds and Oxford on the way back. She was knowledgeable about every place, from the best old pubs for lunch, to the quads in Oxford, the prettiest villages in the Cotswolds and provided a wonderful tour of the Roman Baths. Jane Austen tours are a speciality and there is nothing to surpass her wit and insight. The Jane Austen theme gives the added joy of taking us to Winchester, Chawton and Bath. I also do Thomas Hardy tours and here too, the chance to show people the beauties of Thomas Hardy's Wessex adds to the pleasure. |

I am happy to tour with clients, help with the planning and generally look after you whilst you spend a few days touring our lovely towns, villages and countryside. I recently took a small party on a five day Jane Austen tour. We were based in Winchester and Bath. They all found it fascinating and we had a lot of fun! |
