Introduction
|
ScotLadd Tours (Davy Ladd) offers bespoke driver guided tours anywhere in mainland Scotland including the Western and Northern Isles. Extensions to England, Ireland and Wales can also be incorporated with either a start or finish in Scotland. Specialising in privately guided tours for small groups we explore our magnificent landscape and fascinating cities in ScotLadd’s own fully insured, modern, spacious and comfortable 8 seater minivan. Davy Ladd will work with you to help develop an itinerary that is well paced and packed with those sights, sounds, tastes and experiences that match you interests. Tours can incorporate any of your special interests whether they are walking, natural history, ancestry, castles, food and of course Malt whisky appreciation, to name just a few. Just say what you want to include. ScotLadd can also offer help, advice and guidance on accommodation, dining recommendations, site visits and costs. With pride ScotLadd can recommend many of the unique experiences ‘off the beaten track’ often overlooked by scheduled tours and semi-professional unqualified drivers ‘acting as guides’ doing the usual ‘milk run’ tours. |

David is a fully qualified Blue Badge Guide (2010) and a member of the Scottish Tourist Guides Association (STGA). David is an owner Driver Guide but will consider all aspects of guiding and corporate hospitality work in Scotland. David is particularly interested in Scotland’s wonderful restaurants, culture, whisky, art, the architecture of its formidable castles and stately homes, the ancient landscape revealed by its archaeology; wildlife and the many sporting opportunities. Not to forget of course being able to guide to the most breathtaking scenery of combined geology and geography in Europe. All wrapped up in the true tales of eventful history, vibrant culture and opportunities for unique experiences. With over 28 years experience working at the most senior levels of IT and Consultancy both for Blue Chip IT companies and also owning his own very successful software firm, David has developed exceptional interpersonal and business skills.
